Return to training. 
The adult League starts in mid-March but two challenges are already arranged on February 17th and March2nd. They will be against Roscommon Gaels. Juveniles from Under 12 to Under 18  will return to training on Tuesday 27th February. It will take place at the Athlone Regional Sports Centre between 6.00 and 8.00. All squads will be notified and arrangements will be on social media sites.

Membership 
Annual membership is now due and should be paid as soon as possible. Family including Club Draw €150; adult players €75; students players (over 18) €50, adult non-players €50; and juveniles €50. Payment will be possible on-line and all details will be on our social media sites. Payment to our monthly Club Draw is also on-line.

GAA National Draw
Tickets for the GAA National Draw are on sale through the club at a cost of £10. All money raised goes directly to our club as the prizes are sponsored by Croke Park. Tickets are available from all committee members.

Promotional Stand
The club will have a promotional stand in the Athlone Town Shopping Centre on a Saturday during February. The details will be on all our club social media sites. Make sure to drop in and visit the stand.

Club Shop
A premises has been secured for a club shop in the Blyry Industrial Estate. It is currently being stocked with gear,  jerseys, hurls, helmets, sliothars, retro jerseys, etc. Any one with unused helmets will have an opportunity to return them to the shop. Full details and opening hours will be available shortly.

Sympathy

Sympathy is expressed with the Heffernan family of Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim on the sudden passing of Pat Heffernan, originally from Cork. Pat played with the club in the early 2000s when he worked in Athlone with Ericsson. Condolences to his wife Majella and son Bobby. May he rest in peace.
